In a shocking incident in Los Fresnos, Texas, a 78-year-old man became the victim of an aggravated robbery following a dispute over livestock. Cameron County Sheriff Deputies swiftly responded to the scene at the victim’s residence, where they encountered the aftermath of a violent assault.
According to the elderly victim’s account, he was brutally attacked by 40-year-old Luis Alonzo Torres Mancilla after he refused to sell Torres Mancilla some livestock. The altercation escalated when Torres Mancilla reportedly struck the victim multiple times in the head, causing him to lose consciousness. Upon regaining awareness, the victim discovered that he was also missing money, presumably stolen during the assault.
In a subsequent confession, Mr. Torres Mancilla admitted to the assault, leading to his arrest by the Sheriff Deputies. The suspect was then transported to the Carrizales Rucker Detention Center, where he faces charges of Aggravated Robbery.
