This innovative program offers students the chance to earn a private pilot’s license and a drone certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) upon completion of the four-year course.
The program, the first of its kind in Cameron County, is designed to prepare students for future endeavors, whether they choose to pursue higher education or embark on careers in various industries. Harlingen CISD officials believe that this program will provide students with valuable skills and knowledge that will be beneficial in their future endeavors.
