Mercedes, TX – Police in Mercedes arrested 24-year-old Rigoberto Barron after bullets he fired at the Linda Vista Apartments traveled through multiple walls, endangering the lives of residents, including children who were eating breakfast in a nearby unit.

Incident Details

The arrest took place after apartment management discovered bullet holes in one of the units and promptly notified authorities. Upon investigation, police found that the shots were fired from the apartment next door, where they discovered two men, including Barron.

One of the bullets fired had gone through several walls and entered the dining area of the neighboring unit, where children were having breakfast. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
