Edinburg police are intensifying their search for two men wanted in connection with the murder of Victor Gerardo Hernandez at the Texas Inn on 25th Avenue. Fernando Amaya Orona and Hector Oliver Ramirez have been identified as suspects in the fatal shooting of the 29-year-old victim.
The incident, which occurred early Saturday morning, also left the individual with a gunshot wound inside a Nissan Xterra in the motel’s parking lot. Police have released a description of a 2020 white Chevy Silverado, with license plate number TGZ0107, believed to have been involved in the crime.
Authorities are urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspects or the vehicle to contact the Edinburg Police Department at 289-7700 or the Edinburg Crime Stoppers at 383-8477. The investigation is ongoing, and the community is encouraged to assist law enforcement in bringing the perpetrators to justice.
