Deputies from the Cameron County Sheriff’s Office swiftly responded to Gateway International Bridge following reports of a wanted individual for the offense of Capital Murder.
Upon arrival, they coordinated with Customs and Border Protection Agents to verify the identity of Terry Rivera, born on October 15, 1996. CBP agents confirmed an active warrant for Capital Murder (OCA/Warrant #1858710) for Rivera.
Subsequently, Cameron County Sheriff’s Deputies took custody of Rivera and transported him to the Carrizales Rucker Detention Center for incarceration.
Authorities in Harris County, where the crime occurred, were promptly notified of Rivera’s arrest.
