Suspect Confessed to Breaking Into Storage Room and Taking Instruments and A/C Units
A 56-year-old man has been arrested and charged with burglary after stealing approximately $4,000 worth of equipment from a church storage room in Edinburg.
The suspect, identified as Noe Garcia, reportedly confessed to the crime, which took place last Friday.
According to investigators, Garcia stole:
- A drum set
- Sound equipment
- Two air conditioning units
- 20 metal chairs
Bond Set at $10,000
Garcia was taken into custody and issued a $10,000 bond following his confession. Police have not yet confirmed whether all stolen items have been recovered.
Authorities continue to remind the public to report any suspicious activity around community centers and places of worship.
