Details of the Fire Incident

The fire was reported at 909 Yellow Bells around nine o’clock in the morning. The Edinburg Fire Department was swiftly on the scene, successfully extinguishing the flames.

Fire Spreads to the Attic

Despite the quick response, the fire was able to spread into the attic. This lead to a slight delay in fully extinguishing the blaze. A second crew was called to the scene, where they had to cut a hole in the roof to ventilate and aid in the firefighting efforts.

Resident Hospitalized, Cause of Fire Under Investigation

The home’s owner, a woman, was transported to a local hospital for smoke inhalation. Firefighter Garza and his crew responded within six minutes of the initial call. As of now, the causes of the fire are still under investigation.
