Edcouch PD Arrests Man for Stabbing Three People at Buckhorn Grill

Edcouch Police Department has arrested Octavio Saavedra for allegedly stabbing three individuals at the Buckhorn Grill early Sunday morning. Saavedra is facing three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is being held on a $750,000 bond.

Details of the Incident

The violent altercation took place over the weekend at the popular Edcouch establishment, leaving three people injured. The circumstances leading up to the attack are still unclear, and Edcouch PD is working diligently to gather more information about the incident.

Juan Quintana of the Edcouch Police Department urged the community to come forward with any details that might assist in the investigation.

“If they can’t come out to the police department and give us a statement in reference to this case, it would help the case out a little bit better,” Quintana stated.

Suspect in Custody

Saavedra was apprehended shortly after the incident and charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is currently being held at the local detention facility on a $750,000 bond.
