Donna Police Arrest Fugitive Wanted for Aggravated Sexual Assault

Donna PD captures Idaho fugitive, Randy Nicholas Flores, 20, at city employee’s home

The Donna Police Department has successfully apprehended a fugitive wanted for aggravated sexual assault in Idaho. Randy Nicholas Flores, a 20-year-old from Florida, was located at the residence of a Donna City employee following a tip-off from Idaho authorities.

According to Police Chief Gilbert Guerrero, Flores was staying at the home of a Donna animal control officer. Guerrero expressed concern over the city employee’s failure to report Flores’s presence, stating, “I expect somebody that works for the city to report to somebody that works hand in hand with us. How can you not report that to us that there’s a subject that is wanted for raping a woman?”

Flores was arrested by Donna police officers last night. The Texas Rangers are currently investigating whether the city employee was aware of Flores’s wanted status and may face charges as a result. Chief Guerrero plans to meet with the city manager to discuss the employee’s conduct further.

This incident highlights the importance of cooperation between law enforcement agencies and the public in apprehending fugitives and ensuring community safety.
