The boy was discovered unconscious inside a van at the Learning Club preschool, five hours after returning from a field trip. According to a criminal complaint obtained by Fox News, the child was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.

In a scene that speaks volumes to the community’s grief, the entrance to the Learning Club preschool is now adorned with candles, toys, and stuffed animals in memory of young Logan. His family, engulfed in sorrow, is preparing for his funeral services, scheduled for Sunday at the East Chapel of Darling Mouser Funeral Home in Brownsville. Logan will be laid to rest on Monday.

In connection to the tragic incident, two employees of the daycare—36-year-old Kin Silva and 38-year-old Santi Ree—were arrested. This has sparked outrage among some community members, who believe the bonds were set too low.
