Brownsville Police and DPS Search for Dangerous Fugitives

Brownsville Police and the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) are searching for two dangerous fugitives wanted for violent crimes.

Jose Rufino Delgado
Delgado is wanted in connection with a murder that occurred in April 2003. Described as a Hispanic male standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds, Delgado has black hair and brown eyes. Authorities warn that he is considered armed and dangerous.

Raul Garza Ferreira
DPS has named 53-year-old Raul Garza Ferreira among Texas’ top 10 most wanted fugitives. Garza is wanted for several crimes, including sexual assault, and is affiliated with the Tango Blast gang. He is also considered armed and dangerous.

Authorities are urging anyone with information on Delgado or Garza to come forward. Tips leading to arrests may qualify for a reward of up to $7,000.
