Adequate Sleep Linked to Increased Physical Activity in Teens
A recent study from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health has emphasized the crucial relationship between sleep and physical activity in teenagers. The study found that teens who receive adequate sleep, defined as 8-10 hours per night, tend to be more physically active throughout the day. Researchers stress the importance of aligning school and home environments to better support teens' biological clocks, noting that teens who are permitted to go to bed later, in line with natural rhythms, engage in more physical activities.
