Two men, Isaac Medrano and Martin Moreno Jr., were arrested in Santa Rosa in connection with the shooting of a 14-year-old girl in Edinburg, leaving her hospitalized.

Two Men Arrested in Connection to Edinburg Shooting of 14-Year-Old Girl
Edinburg, TX – Authorities in Santa Rosa arrested 23-year-old Isaac Medrano and 19-year-old Martin Isaiah Moreno Jr. in connection with the shooting of a 14-year-old girl last Thursday in Edinburg. Both men were detained by Edinburg Police Department officers following the incident at an apartment on the 2100 block of Carlos Street.
Details of the Shooting
The shooting, which left the teenage victim hospitalized, occurred at an apartment complex last week. Authorities quickly identified Medrano as the shooter, while Moreno is also facing charges related to the incident.
Both suspects are expected to appear in court tomorrow for their arraignment.
Ongoing Investigation
The investigation is still ongoing as authorities work to gather more information on the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Edinburg PD has not yet released further details about the condition of the victim.
